Grind Time and URL: THE JUNGLE - Cocky vs. Heartless
Click On the Pictures to see more pics
This was truely a close battle it was 1 long ass round those boys went hard. Heartless was destroying Cocky for about 3 minutes straight in this battle. He got started and there was no stopping him. This battle took place in The jungle which is a neighborhood located in LA. Just when i thought that his opponent Cocky couldn't comeback any harder he proved me wrong. Cocky didn't rap very long but he surely had a lot to say and he went in. This quick rhyme battle was definitely worth watching.

Grind Time Now Presents: E-Dub vs Bockey Balboa

E-Dub killed Bockey Balboa killed E-Dub in round 1. Bockey didn't say nonthing this round. E-Dub had the catchy metaphors and I think what help him win that round was Bockey stopping too long in between a few punch lines.
E-Dub Annihilated annihilated Bockey Balboa. In the second round He said he was freestyle rapping. so i take his word for it. It seemed like it was spontaneous. E-dub was truly the worthy adversary this round. Bockey's last punchline still was hot.
In the third round E-Dub killed him from the start. E-dub really had the bar going crazy. Those drunk fools were losing there minds in the back round.Bockey bit off of one Big L's oldest freestyle rhymes I felt like that move killed him even if it was freestyle rapping. When it come to battle rapping you have to be perform good weather you freestyle or spit writtens.

Grind Time: Dolla vs RC
Click On the Pictures to see more pics
Dolla the opponent from ATL came hard at the beginning of the rap battle. I like his delivery and he was some what clever. Dolla doesn't seem like the battle rap type he seems more like the type to make rap songs with catchy hooks. His opponent from Virginia seemed more like a battle rapper. I could tell from the beginning of this battle that I wasn't gonna hear anything spectacular that i never heard. They looked like some simple rappers and that's just what they were in round 1.
The second round was real simple but i liked when Dolla said, "the only time he bust a slug is when he step on the bug".That rhyme was somewhat clever. RC came hard but not hard enough he didn't really say many catchy rap punchlines. Dolla got that round in my opinion but not by that much.
In the third round Dolla came extremely hard with great rap metaphors.Dolla won this whole battle in my opinion. RC wasn't even rhyming some of the time. Dolla came with his a game even if a lot his rhymes were elementary and seemed rehearsed and non-spontaneous.
Don't get the wrong idea I have nothing against these guys I'm just a spectator that's critical on rap .

Grind Time: A-Class vs George Jetson
Click On the Pictures to see more pics
A-Class truly came hard in the first round. His first line was, "ay yo i freestyle in this batlle cuz your not that clever" plus his delivery though out the battle was spontaneous enough to be a freestyle which is enough to make me assume it was just that. This little dude truly proved to be the opposite of what he labeled his opponent to be , very witty. George Jetson held his own and truly brought the heat in the next round. He spit some lyrical fire but I can't give him the first round by any means. My opinion is he lost that round. A-class Gets an A- for the first round George Jetson was like between a B and a C+ His energy rhymes, and delivery just didn't match up to son.
In the second round of the grind time rap battle It sounded like A-Class was getting him until i listened to rhymes over again. He was truly saying a lot rhymes that sounded good but when you really pieced together what he was saying he had rhymes and rap lyrics that made no sense. Maybe i just didn't get a lot of the metaphors he was trying to spit and he did make sense I don't know. George Jetson touches on this a little later but not in this round. George Jetson surely hel his own in this round but not good enough I would say to combat the barrage of rhymes that A-Class was threw at him from the top of the dome. This round beyond a doubt went to A-class.
In the last round George Jetson tried to imitate A-Classes rhyme style but it backfired and made him look stupid. In my opinion he shouldn't have even tried it . Firstly he didn't do a very good job imitating and secondly he stuttered about three times the third time was the worst. When he did that he totally lost his credibility of winning. In my opinion A-class Won the last round of the rap battle which would make him the champ.

Grind Time: Dirtbag Dan vs Tiger Ty
Click On the Pictures to see more pics
During the first end of the battle Dirtbag Dan was truly kicking up dust. My favorite rhyme that he said in the first round was ," In my trunk I got a pair of boots a buck knife and a parachute , see i'm a cut this pear in two turn him in to a pair of fruit, get blood on my pair of shoes", I missed what he said right after that but he ended up later saying, "I see some of yall are confused like whats he gonna do with the parachute? well after you get people that are scared to shoot, can't figure out weather to aim at the hair or the tooth, I'm a use the parachute to jump off of the terris roof". That rhyme gets a 2 thumbs up he really got the crowd going with that one. Dirtbag was truly unique unique with his style and delivery. When Tiger TY came in he hit his opponent Dirtbag with a style that was mad unique i didn't really understand all of his verses but perhaps somebody else might i am gonna listen to his round again later. I might say round 1 was a tie
Dirtbag starts round two off boasting about how he gets mega women and how they can't blink because they don't wanna miss looking at him. Maybe I should let my beard grow out perhaps I would get more women that way.Well anyways round 2 was real close.I love watching these two battle rappers go at it because they are two funny. The second round truly brought laughter to me.I was having a bad day until i seen this battle.I would have to give this round to dirt bag.I must say Tiger Ty was funnier especially when Tiger Ty referred to Dirtbag living in back of Radio Shack.
This round was truly exciting. Dirt bag really gave got Tiger TY with thiis one punch line he said,"while other cowards live in fear, i get in gear," then he said something else after that i didn't understand what he said, he then finished the rhyme off saying, "the only thing i use a tiger swipe for is to trim my beard". That rhyme was truly hilarious. Tiger TY surely lost the last round but he surely held his own .I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. This battle has got to be my favorite of all. I like the vibe of and the atmosphere they were battling in. This was surely different than a battle that would take place in my time zone on the east coast. Well anyways these are my thought s of this rap battle so feel free to leave a comment.

Grind Time: Sahtyre vs Real Deal Freestyle Battle
Click On the Pictures to see more pics
At the beginning of this battle the one of the judges or referees said that they were live from the mecca of battle rap. I didn't know La is the mecca of battle rap. Well anyways, In the First round Sahtyre the rapper from LA, came hard with a few hot punch lines. This is my first time seeing him. For some reason he reminds me of Bleu Davinci it must be his facial features because it ain't his rhymes. His rap style sounds more on a battle rapper tip. The first punchline he said was kind of catchy. He said, "mood swings dissed the crips i told him you was his cousin".My next favorite punch line that he said was when he said something about flipping the script so fast you would think the word nigga slipped. It was one of those rhymes that you would be like, "hay why didn't I think of that?". When Sahtyre was finished with his verse The Real Deal a rapper from Pittsburgh jumped right in it right after and said his verse. I have to admit I didn't think Real Deal would be able to match him but i was wrong. The first punch line he said that i liked was, "I'll kill you then I'll massacre your buddies, fuck body bags for these softy fags I'll carry them out in Snuggies." His last punchline that he said to sahtyre was quote "You left La once and got the treatment that Rodney got."
On the second round I was totally digging Sahtyres energy in the second round he had a lot of great rhymes. He's really good at putting words together. Sahtyres said, "your not that dude from Youtube your that dude from Blues clues" . There were a lot of laughs when he did his thing. When The Real Deal came in shortly after it didn't take him very long to grab the crowd when he countered one of Sahtyres rhymes with his witty come backs. The real Deal made a reference to Sahtyres Rap style and said he looks like he's drowning when he raps. The real Deal was extremely clever. He finished off saying that he took the Grey Hound bus to get there.
Sahtyre went right into the third round of this battle hitting hard.Sahtyres highlight moment was when he said, "your like a super hero that can't fly it's ab bird it's a plane nope just a regular guy." It was also kind of funny when Sahtyres compared him to an announcer at wrestle mania. When The real deal went in for his verse the he made a reference to Sahtyre losing to the most hated rapper on Grindtime and stopped to give a shot out in the middle of the verse. He said something disrespectful so i guess he had to clear it up. It's funny how these battle rappers can get carried away with there mouths. But anyways,The Real Deal best line was when he said at the end i heard, "I heard Sahtire doesn't hurt animals what the fuck chance you think he'd stand against me."
There was a surprise 4th round i guess The Real Deal went first this time he gave Sahtire a few lyrical upper cuts but I'd have to give that one to Saftire
